Contact Center Representative

25 hours/week - afternoon schedule

Responsible for answering incoming event related telephone calls, emails and CHATS for the Contact Center.

Input data accurately into the computer by using department standards and show specifics.

Essential Functions:

  1. Answers incoming event phone lines promptly, courteously and correctly; answers questions, researches and resolves problems, and provides information in a clear and concise manner.
  2. Responds to emails and Chats accurately, professionally and within department standards.
  3. Utilizes and understands data entry notes to accurately enter in data by event.
  4. Updates client FAQ daily for reporting purposes.
  5. Follows up on customer inquiries and research to assure satisfactory completion, both via phone and email.
  6. Remains current on changes in show facts, event notes, policies, procedures and product offerings.
  7. Knows and understands individual trade show components, attendees and exhibitors so that individual is well informed and accurate when providing information.
  8. Works with other Contact Center Representatives to ensure that daily information requests are fulfilled and that files are kept current.
  9. Performs additional clerical duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills:
Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written capabilities. Data entry and keyboarding skills (40 WPM) are required. Must have experience with internet and MS Office. Individual must have a pleasant telephone voice and manner. Must be detail oriented with the ability to work with high volumes with daily and weekly deadlines. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.


Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least one year experience in a customer service position.

Data Integration Specialist

Full-time

Responsible for implementing recurring web and database configured integrations.


Work closely with Product Development for knowledge transfer and documentation on new integrations and with Web Developers on implementing integrations into deliverables. Owns the integrations once they are rolled into production and maintains the documentation and any operational enhancements or fixes. Examples include: Housing Integrations, Social Media tools, Membership Lookups/Feeds, Web Services that transfer data to/from 3rd party vendors.

Essential Department Functions:

  1. Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned integrations
  2. Setup and support a variety of integrations using various technologies
  3. Work closely with product development on new integrations
  4. Once integrations are live, work with 3rd parties if troubleshooting/support is required
  5. Attend any required integration-specific and company meetings
  6. Primary point of contact for onsite staff for assigned integrations
  7. For specified events travel to shows in support of client events
  8. Provide custom configurations and support for our clients as required
  9. Other duties as assigned by department manager

Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL 2000-2008 and T-SQL, SQL Stored Procedures. Database structure and knowledge of web scripting languages (Classic ASP, PHP) is required. MS Office with a focus on Excel and Access, HTML coding, and knowledge of relational databases is also required. Knowledge of web services, .Net and front end web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) is preferred.

This is a technical position that requires excellent organizational, analytical, customer service and attention to detail skills. Individual must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to handle stressful situations and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and within tight time constraints are required.

Education and Experience:
Two-year technical degree or equivalent industry experience is required.

Data Integrity Manager

Full-time

Responsible for the quality and integrity of all MS SQL client databases, including reporting, quality assurance and documentation.

Essential Departmental Functions:

  1. Responsible for the data integrity of CDS MS SQL client databases including specific client requests for custom reporting, data collection, as well as support of operational processes.
  2. Recommend enhancements to prevent data integrity issues in CDS applications.
  3. Responsible for quality assurance testing of CDS websites, merges, and email blasts.
  4. Responsible for documentation of all database related event notes.
  5. Attend applicable event meetings to determine needs and client expectations.
  6. Work collaboratively with CDS management team to ensure operational synergy between all departments. Take an active role in CDS manager meetings.
  7. Manage daily department operations.
  8. Provide ongoing training and development of technical employees; write performance reviews within CDS guidelines.
  9. Prepare annual budget for the Data Integrity department.
  10. Other duties as required.

Required Skills:
Must have excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and technical skills as demonstrated by work history and performance. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Must possess the interpersonal skills required to interact with clients, staff and others at all management levels. Must have the demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations professionally, multi task in an environment with changing priorities, and perform within tight time constraints. Must have extensive MS SQL, Access and MS Office experience as well as software testing methodology skills. SQL 2008 programming experience is preferred.

Onsite Services Manager

Full-time

Serves as the key client contact for all onsite services.


Coordinates the pre-show and onsite activities, including managing the onsite registration and lead retrieval staff for the event.

Essential Functions:

  1. Serve as the onsite team leader for assigned events by monitoring the team’s progress for all advance and onsite phases.
  2. Inventory, install, test, operate and maintain all system equipment onsite. Work with the Lead Retrieval manager and Shipping Department as needed.
  3. Supervises and supports the onsite registration process, entrance tracking, session tracking, lead retrieval and other onsite services. Also, implements the show procedures and policies. Responsible for the supervision of the onsite CDS staff.
  4. Trains and supervises the onsite temporary staff. This includes data entry, printer station, badge holder pick-up, self-registration, line monitors, session and entrance tracking temporary staff.
  5. Act as the client liaison onsite and provide reports in a timely fashion as required by the client.
  6. Tear down, pack and ship equipment and supplies after the close of the event. Prepare complete documentation required for shipping equipment.
  7. Extensive travel is required.
  8. Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Onsite Operations.

Essential Team Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the Onsite Meeting two weeks prior to the event.
  2. Maintain maximum awareness of all aspects of the event planning and logistic process for assigned events. Works in conjunction with the Registration Manager, Operations Department, Shipping Manager and all other members of the Event Team.
  3. Plans and develops the onsite registration process working with Account Executive, IS and the Registration Manager on floor plans, equipment requirements, electrical requirements and staffing.
  4. Reviews and verifies the final onsite operations plan. Works with the Registration Manager and the Account Executive to verify the equipment, shipping, floor plan, staffing and material requirements.
  5. Produce onsite notes and provide post-show feedback and analysis, including suggestions for improvement. Works the Account Executive on the post-show wrap-up.

Required Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent technical skills and be able to work as a team leader or member, but also independently with minimal direct supervision. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations are required. Excellent customer services skills and the ability to interact with clients, onsite staffing, and the general public are also required. Must be able to set up the onsite registration network and perform onsite equipment repairs and software fixes as required.

Expectations:
The learning curve of an OSM is between 6-10 months, after which the incumbent will be expected to perform all job functions, as described above, with minimal or no outside assistance.

Each new OSM will have a meeting with the Manager of Onsite Operations at 60, 120 and 180 days after hire to review progress. Benchmarks set by the Manager of Onsite Operations will be required to be met in order for continued employment.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree desired or equivalent industry experience.

Quality Analyst

Full-time

Provide quality web pages and interfaces to internal and external clients.

The individual will work with all departments within the company to establish quality control standards by testing all product deliverables.

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for ensuring that all appropriate testing has taken place before web sites are released to clients.
  2. Work with Product Development and Business Team in establishing and maintaining quality control standards for all new product development and enhancements.
  3. Attend all event process meetings and company meetings.
  4. Serve as main contact for other departments regarding quality control support and initiatives.
  5. Responsible for coordinating training on administrative tools for clients.
  6. Assist with Sales, Product Development and Business Team in product designs for new enhancements.
  7. Other departmental duties as assigned by department manager.

Required Skills:
Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are required. Must have good written and oral communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with staff, colleagues and management. Must have ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks simultaneously, and perform within tight time constraints. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Products is required. Some travel may also be required.

Web Developer

Full-time

The Web Developer is responsible for event database setups and web page development using ASP, PHP, VB.

Each client event is a customized web application with a proven ASP code base and a standard SQL Server 2000/2005 database structure.

Essential Departmental Functions:

  1. Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned events and clients.
  2. Act as CDS liaison with the client for technical issues.
  3. Build, test and deploy client web sites.
  4. Other duties as assigned by department manager.

Essential Show Team Functions:

  1. Attend all event-specific and company meetings.
  2. Primary point of contact for onsite staff for assigned events.
  3. Provide custom configurations and support for our clients as required.

Required Skills:
Excellent organizational, analytical, customer service and attention to detail skills are a must. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with clients, account managers, registration managers, and others at all management levels. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and perform multiple tasks simultaneously within tight time constraints.

Technical Skills Required:

  1. A minimum of 2 years experience developing database driven websites, preferably using Microsoft technologies.
  2. Web development using ASP/VB Script, PHP, JavaScript, T-SQL, CSS and SQL 2005/2000 server.
  3. Working knowledge of IIS 5.0/6.0 in a Windows 2000/2003 environment.
  4. Basic SQL 2000/2005 server administration skills (creating tables, store procedures, using DTS) are a plus.
  5. Knowledge and use of Web Services a plus.
  6. Experience with AJAX programming a plus.
  7. Web site team authoring and team programming experience is preferred.
  8. Familiarity with the software development life cycle using a Source Control product is desired.
  9. Some travel may be required.
